Jim Cornette Says Kenny Omega Does Not Have True Heel Heat

Kenny Omega is currently the AAA Mega Champion and also the AEW World Champion. He remains booked as one of the best champions in recent memory and his high work rate speaks for itself. He also successfully retained his AEW world title against Christian Cage at All Out.

Kenny Omega made a name for himself with his incredible matches against the likes of Kazuchika Okada and Tetsuya Naito in NJPW and is regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world right now.

Omega is also very passionate when it comes to his love for pro wrestling but he is also outspoken, so Omega is never afraid to speak his mind when the time comes. Omega also faced off against Bryan Danielson during AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, in a match that received universal praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike.

While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked bout the match and stated that Kenny Omega doesn’t have real heel heat as fans enjoy the fancy moves that he does.

Omega does not have real heel heat because the people like him because he does fancy stuff that they enjoy. But here, they were for Bryan Danielson because even these fans, and especially the New Yorkers, they know Danielson is a big time talent and a major deal and we like him and we will cheer for him.

Kenny Omega also stated that he made Bryan Danielson hobble home like lump of ground beef. It remains to be seen if the two will clash again somewhere down the line.
