Chris Jericho Claims AEW Has 400 Main Event Level Matches Thanks To CM Punk & Bryan Danielson

Chris Jericho is a veteran in the pro wrestling world who competed all over the world over the past three decades. He is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. Being veteran in the business, he doesn’t really have much care about what his haters have to say.

AEW certainly has all the momentum in the world thanks to the signing of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole in the past month.

While speaking with Stephanie Chase, Chris Jericho talked about how the signings of Danielson and Punk gives AEW more variety when it comes to match types.

Chris Jericho then claimed that there will be around 400 main event level matches in AEW thanks to Bryan Danielson and CM Punk.

It just opens up so many doors of matches that we have,” continues Jericho. “We had a lot of matches on tap before, but now there’s probably 25 or 30 matches for almost everybody on the roster that we can have. Probably 20 of those people can main event matches. 20 x 25, that’s probably a solid 400 main event matches that we have in the bank now with these new guys coming in. It’s great, it’s exciting.”

With Bryan Danielson already having delivered q dream match with Kenny Omega on this past week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it remains to be seen whether Chris Jericho will be correct or not.
