Jake Roberts has been off AEW television for some time. It was reported that he was suffering from an unknown condition, but now we know that he recently had surgery.

Roberts leads Lance Archer to the ring as his manager. Even in Jake’s absence, AEW made great use of Archer with the return of Suzuki Gun at AEW Rampage Grand Slam.

According to a report from Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, Jake Roberts had a surgery on his foot. After getting pins inserted into his toes, Roberts is expected back soon.

I spoke to sources about Jake The Snake’s recent health issues, and I was told that Roberts has been absent from AEW programming after undergoing foot surgery where he had pins inserted in some of his toes. Roberts is expected back to AEW programming very soon, potentially even this week after he was recently cleared by his doctor to return to work.

We’re hoping for the best and wishing Roberts well. The WWE Hall of Famer has gone through a lot, and this recent surgery sounds like a very uncomfortable thing to endure.
