Bianca Belair’s plans for SummerSlam were dashed with The Man came around. Becky Lynch’s return to the squared circle resulted in a quick win after a Manhandle Slam. Then Belair started her chase for the title once again.

While speaking to Inside The Ropes, Belair revealed exactly how last minute those plans were for SummerSlam. She didn’t find out what they were doing until ” very, very, very, very, very last minute.” As Ringside News exclusively reported, Becky Lynch’s SummerSlam return was the result of changed plans changing and then changing again.

“It was pretty much very, very, very, very, very last minute. Pretty much when I was in the ring up – until the time that I went out [to the ring]. Very late call, very late moment, everything, all the emotions that you saw in my face during the match at SummerSlam, were real emotions, shock. Kind of just like, ‘Wow, this is happening. Ok, let’s go with it and just be great at what you do.’ So it was a very, very last minute call.”

Bianca Belair has a chance to recapture the SmackDown Women’s Title at Extreme Rules. We will have to see what happens in that situation, because the betting odds are not in her favor. Then again, the betting odds were way off for SummerSlam.
