Kenny Omega Says There Will Be No Rematch Against Bryan Danielson

Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson kicked off AEW Grand Slam with a bang. The two wrestled for thirty minutes and went to time limit draw. This was a fantastic way for Danielson to start his AEW journey, but Omega does not want another match against the former WWE Champion.

Kenny Omega dropped a very short tweet following his non-title match at AEW Grand Slam. He said that there will be no Omega vs Danielson II, much to the chagrin of fans.

Ain’t gonna be no rematch.

Omega also used #AEW, #AEWDynamite, and #AEWGrandSlam; all of those were popular hashtags throughout the night. We’ll have to see if Omega vs Danielson II happens, but it’s very likely to be for that AEW World Title without any time limit next time around.
