Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega opened up the night in front of a sold-out Arthur Ashe Stadium. The two battled with a 30-minute time limit for their non-title match. Each of them had a ton to prove and the crowd was absolutely electric.

In the end, the bell sounded as Bryan Danielson was in the middle of delivering some brutal kicks to Omega. They said on commentary that Bryan would have won if they had another minute on the clock, but the world will never know.

The Arthur Ashe Stadium crowd seemed to understand this booking. Omega and Danielson will meet again. Next time there will likely be no time limit, because the AEW World Title will be on the line.
