WWE is holding another Draft on October 1st and 4th. They will kick things off with SmackDown and we might already have a massive spoiler for the company’s plans.

While Ringside News exclusively reported on September 1st that WWE hasn’t made any concrete plans for the 2021 WWE Draft yet, a lot can change in rapid fashion throughout WWE.

A new alleged advertisement is floating around online showing Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Title on October 1st’s episode of SmackDown. This image appears as though it was taken from a television airing a local advertisement.

If this advertisement is legit, it’s unclear if this match will even air on television. They could be promoting a dark match for the live fans. It still might give us a big clue about Drew McIntyre’s future.

Ringside News also reported on September 10th that WWE is “keeping all options open” for Drew McIntyre. That includes which brand he will be on and whether he will be a heel or a babyface.

We’ll just have to see what happens when the draft comes around, but this is a pretty good hint about their plans. Also, bear in mind that both RAW and SmackDown rosters are typically around for the WWE Draft, so anything is possible at this point.
