WWE is planning another draft in October, but it is too early to know what they are doing at this point. That won’t stop the rumor mill from churning whenever fans think they see a hint of what is to come.

Ringside News asked around about the recent report that Drew McIntyre is on his way to SmackDown. While this is still a possibility, nothing is written in stone at this juncture.

We were told by a tenured member of the team that the report about Drew McIntyre heading to SmackDown is “neither accurate nor inaccurate.” At this point, it is “premature,” because “the draft has not been decided.”

Roman Reigns added lot of fuel to the fire of McIntyre moving to the blue brand. He stated during an interview with Cheap Heat that “in a perfect world if there was an opportunity to pass the torch to [McIntyre], he’s the one guy I think that has captivated my attention in that manner, but at the same time he ain’t there and it’s only because I’m still here and so solid within my foothold, my stronghold.”

WWE has a lot of things that they need to take care of in the meantime. The draft will be addressed, but nothing is 100% nailed down at this point. We will continue monitoring this story here at Ringside News for further updates.
