Bron Breakker made his WWE NXT debut this week and he is apparently getting shot to the top of the card. After beating LA Knight, Breakker concluded the night by staring down new NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. Breakker is a second-generation Superstar, but they haven’t mentioned that on commentary yet.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that WWE doesn’t want the NXT commentary team to mention that he is Rick Steiner’s son. They mentioned that he has a “dog-faced gremlin mentality,” but that was the extent of it.

Bron Breakker immediately told Tommaso Ciampa that he needs to keep his head on a swivel, because there’s a new guy in NXT. It appears that Bron Breakker will go straight to the top of the roster, and an early NXT Title run isn’t out of the question.

WWE’s developmental brand is introducing a slew of new characters for fans. We will have to see who sticks, but it is very apparent that Vince McMahon is behind Breakker. That doesn’t mean they want his family lineage brought into things.
