Bronson Rechsteiner, son of Rick Steiner, was working hard at the WWE Performance Center for months. He even appeared on NXT television last month as an extra as well.

On the debut episode of NXT 2.0, Rechsteiner got a new name as he is now known as Bron Breakker. He had a very impactful debut as he made short work of LA Knight, looking very dominant in the process.

Tommaso Ciampa also won the NXT Championship after winning the Fatal 4 Way over Pete Dunne, LA Knight and Von Wagner. It marked the second time Ciampa became the NXT Champion.

The episode ended with a backstage segment featuring Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa. It ended with the two shaking hands and having an intense staredown to close out the show.

WWE released a post-show video of Scott Steiner’s nephew, as he sent a message to Tommaso Ciampa and made it clear he is gunning for the NXT Championship already.

“Man, what a night for NXT 2.0, and what a night for Bron Breakker. I came in here tonight with an open mind, and I made a statement, alright? Ask LA Knight, alright? I’m here to make a statement. Ciampa, congratulations on the win. I respect ya, I got mad respect for you and what you’ve done here in NXT, but know this – I got my eye on ya now. Keep your head on a swivel, brother.”

It is not known whether Tommaso Ciampa vs Bron Breakker will actually happen in the future, but it certainly would make for an interesting matchup if it does.
