Sami Zayn Wants Fans To Thank Him For Revolutionizing The Pro Wrestling Business

Sami Zayn went through a huge change in character over the past year, as he went from babyface to a conniving heel. His current gimmick sees him as a conspiracy theorist who thinks WWE is out to get him at every opportunity. Zayn is also hell-bent on finishing up his documentary and show the world that he never lied in the first place.

Sami Zayn’s feud with the likes of Kevin Owens over the years has drawn a lot of praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike. Zayn continues to hone his craft and is a highlight of WWE television.

Before his time on the main roster, Sami Zayn cemented himself as one of the faces of NXT as he had several instant classic matches against numerous opponents and truly set the stage for NXT.

Sami Zayn took to Twitter and asked why no one thanked him for revolutionizing the business thanks to his work in NXT as he also mentioned the near era of NXT.

As this new era of @WWENXT begins, think of all the greats that passed through NXT to this point & how virtually none of them would have ever been there if not for me making NXT a thing. But does anyone say thank you Sami for revolutionizing the business? Of course not. Poor me.

Sami Zayn’s WWE contract status was also topic of discussion recently, mostly due to Kevin Owens’ contract status. It remains to be seen whether Zayn will stick with WWE after his contract expires next year.
