The pro wrestling world is all about intellectual property nowadays. NXT is undergoing massive change, complete with a different look and feel. On top of that, they have hired even more talents to align with their new vision.

With the influx of new talents, it seems the company has already made preparations for the imminent debuts of a few NXT Superstars from the looks of it.

WWE has filed for several new trademarks that will be used for ring names. This was done on September 7th with The United States Patent and Trademark Office. Here are the following names that were trademarked:

Gunnar Harland
Trick Williams
Tony D’Angelo
Dante Chen
Persia Pirotta

As reported earlier, Parker Boudreaux’s new NXT name was Gunnar Harland, so this simply confirms that that will be his new name going forward. It is interesting that Rex Steiner wasn’t on that list.

We will have to wait and see how the new batch of NXT Superstars will fare in the company, as we head into the new era of NXT, something that fans are not very excited about.
