Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.

Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade El Idolo will call home next. That question was finally answered as Andrade El Idolo made his debut in AEW back in June.

Andrade El Idolo was set to square off against Pac in a highly anticipated match at AEW All Out on September 5. Unfortunately, the match got postponed as it took place on AEW Rampage this week.

The match was certainly worth the wait as Andrade and Pac put on an instant classic match to kickstart the show and fans loved every moment of it. In the end, Andrade won the match thanks to some interference from Chavo Guerrero, which led to Andrade turning on him.

After the conclusion of the match, Andrade took to Twitter and stated that AEW has the best pro wrestlers in the world and that he is the best wrestler in AEW.

“AEW has the best wrestlers in the world, and I’m the best wrestler in @AEW@AEWonTNT 2-0.”

It remains to be seen what is next in store for Andrade El Idolo after his terrific match against Pac on AEW Rampage.
