WWE’s next pay-per-view event, Extreme Rules on September 26th will see the company likely pull out some gimmick matches. We’ll have to see what stipulations they lay down, but we know who Roman Reigns will wrestle on the show.

Finn Balor was the first-ever WWE Universal Champion, but that reign didn’t last long at all. He was forced to relinquish the title a day after winning it due to a shoulder injury. It has been a long road back to the title for Balor.

WWE announced that Roman Reigns will defend the Universal Title against Finn Balor once again at Extreme Rules. This comes after The Tribal Chief was able to beat Balor in clean fashion last week.

After Balor’s loss, a tease was dropped that the Demon could be coming to face Reigns next. We will have to see what happens, but Extreme Rules just got bigger. You can check out the card (so far) below.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
