Pat McAfee made his NXT debut against Adam Cole as he was engaged in feud with Cole last year. The two had some solid matches against one another and after a hiatus from WWE television, Pat McAfee made his way to Friday Night Smackdown as part of the commentary team.

Last month, Pat McAfee was pulled from his role as a commentator on  Friday Night Smackdown due to testing positive for COVID-19. However, this didn’t stop him from making Adam Cole hilarious job offer when he became a free agent.

Adam Cole would respond to Pat McAfee’s job offer in the way only he knew how. At AEW All Out, Adam Cole made his shocking debut in the company and instantly set the stage for what is to come.

While speaking during the Pat McAfee show, Pat McAfee targeted Adam Cole in a profanity-laden rant after Cole made his debut in AEW. Despite doing so, he also gave Cole some praise right at the end.

“We are gonna talk about Bay Bay later, that was quite a big moment last night. You know, he’s a piece of s**t, that guy. I mean congrats to him and that is a pretty big deal, but f**k that guy. I can’t take this guy. You know dude, like he’s terrible scumbag as*hole. Can’t say it enough, proved it again last night. Just can’t help it, it oozes from his body. You stand too close to him for too long he’s like… when I had to, for 20-some minutes, first time, no crowd, no big deal. When I went out there, you’re worried that the scum is gonna osmosis through.

That was a pretty fu**ing big moment. Now, with that being said, What a terrible guy, congrats though. It was really fu**ing cool to see, and it was great to hear [does the “Adam Cole Bay Bay” pose] that fu**er was loud,”

Adam Cole also stated that joining AEW was fairly easy decision for him. We will have to wait and see how he will be booked in AEW in the coming months.
