WWE’s NXT brand is reportedly going through a big change, but there is more to that story. Conflicting reports have come out that might settle some nervous fans. It turns out that Triple H might not have lost all of the control that some fans thought.

According to a report from Wrestle Votes, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, William Regal, and Matt Bloom are still very much in control of things. The look of NXT is still likely to change, but it will be a “subtle” one.

After talking to sources regarding NXT: the day to day operation isn’t changing that drastically. Still very much in the hands of HHH, HBK, Regal, Bloom etc

However, the look of the weekly TV product will have a “Vince & Co” stamp on it. I expect it to be subtle to start… then?

NXT will resume live programming on September 14th. It will be interesting to see how the brand changes from this point on, but Triple H and his people in charge of NXT aren’t going anywhere.
