NXT is about to see a takeover event take place, but it won’t have anything to do with special on Peacock. Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard are set to take the helm of WWE’s developmental brand, calling the shots on the big decisions.

Fans took to social media and they spoke out in full force after this news broke. Many used “RIP NXT,” so much that the phrase trended on Twitter. This was a very common discussion point within the Internet Wrestling Community.

“Triple H” even trended as fans wondered how he took this news. It should be noted that NXT talent haven’t been told about any change, but a rebranding is already on the way with that new paint splattered logo.

Fans are now in mourning for the NXT that once way. The brand gave fans a ton of great memories and fantastic matches, but it appears that a lot of things are about to change soon enough.
