Becky Lynch was absent on WWE television for well over a year but that was rectified after she shockingly returned at WWE SummerSlam. As Ringside News exclusively reported, The Man’s return was also a last-minute change of plans as Ringside News exclusively reported. It seems she was also responsible for her change in character.

Lynch was immediately put into the Smackdown Women’s Championship match against Bianca Belair and won in just 26 seconds with a Manhandle Slam. Fans were understandably quite upset over Lynch squashing Belair.

It was ultimately a call made by Vince McMahon to help elevate Becky Lynch further. Becky Lynch is also going to be heel. It seems this upset even Ric Flair.

While speaking to Oral Sessions, Ric Flair talked about Becky Lynch squashing Bianca Belair. While doing so, he also admitted that he doesn’t understand WWE storylines at times and then revealed that he didn’t like Lynch destroying Belair at all.

“I didn’t like it. Sometimes I don’t understand what they do with anybody, Ashley (Charlotte) included. But I didn’t like it at all. I thought Bianca had worked so hard. She’s really a nice person, I like her husband, they seem very close. There’s a lot of things that make her pretty unique. I actually was hoping that someday, and I thought it could be Bianca and Charlotte, they could really be huge. Obviously the two best athletes in the women’s division. I mean, both Division One athletes legitimately. And that’s a whole different way of telling a story leading up to an event. Plus the fact that they can do stuff that nobody else can.”

Bianca Belair earned the right to challenge Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, so we will have to wait and see if she will be able to reclaim her title or not eventually.
