The drastic change in character for Roman Reigns over the years has been well documented. He went from being an utterly dull babyface to one of the most compelling heels in WWE. He also isn’t a stranger when it comes to accolades in the company.

Roman Reigns was an eyesore for many when he was a babyface and fans and pro wrestlers alike agreed with this notion. This is in spite of the fact that Reigns competed in high profile matches against the very best.

Many fans also agree with the fact that having Paul Heyman as Roman Reigns’ special counsel helped elevate him to the top. Roman Reigns agrees with that fact as he considers Heyman a great weapon in his arsenal.

While speaking on the Catch Of, Paul Heyman was asked what WWE’s toughest challenge will be moving forward. Heyman answered that capitalizing on Roman Reigns’ greatness will be the company’s toughest challenge.

“How to capitalize on the greatness of Roman Reigns. How to get everything out of this historic run that we’re able to get out of it. How to successfully tell a global community that something truly special is going on here. That something extraordinary is happening. That a transformative narrative is being told on SmackDown the likes of which has never been told before in sports entertainment, probably never will be told again.

That a star, a superstar, a once ever superstar is emerging on SmackDown. A Tribal Chief. A best of the best, a best of the very best, is coming forward into the true hall of fame stretch of his career. It’s a level of greatness never before achieved and probably will never be achieved again. Informing a global community of that, in such trying times, is a daunting task for WWE and one that I dare suggest they need to perfect because everyone on this planet should have an opportunity to see the greatness being offered by Roman Reigns.”

Roman Reigns’ current run as the WWE Universal Champion already crossed 365 days. He is also set to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Finn Balor on next week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. We will have to wait and see how he will fare in the match.
