Brandi Rhodes is not one to hold back her opinion about anything, and she recently fired off a tweet that was a bit controversial. Then she smashed the delete button in quick order after she saw some of the responses coming in.

The Chief Brand Officer of All Elite Wrestling took her title seriously on Sunday afternoon. She sent out a tweet directed at fans who complain that there aren’t enough Black main event performers in the pro wrestling business. Then she pointed out how Black performers don’t get love when they are in the main event.

This might start some [poo emoji[ , but let’s talk. I see a lot of people complaining on here that there aren’t enough black talent featured in wrestling…YET… when black talent is out there busting it in main events and holding championships…where’s the love?? Am I just missing it?!

Brandi Rhodes deleted that tweet in quick order, but enough fans captured screenshots that there is no doubt the tweet was actually sent. We’ll have to see if she revises her message and tries again, but it seems that she decided to leave that hot take deleted for now.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
