CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut on last week’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance, move that elevated the company to the next level. CM Punk also knew he was going to AEW beforehand, but that didn’t stop the excitement. He has ties with many members of the AEW roster, but his relationship with Colt Cabana is also bit interesting, to say the least.

Punk admitted that he thought his AEW debut was the greatest night of his career and many were elated to see him in the company, including even WWE Superstars, who indirectly referenced the debut.

Interestingly enough, Colt Cabana was not present for CM Punk’s AEW debut and this made fans wonder if there was still any animosity between the two. After all, Cabana did have to sue CM Punk after that messy court case with WWE’s doctor Chris Amann over things Punk said on Cabana’s Art Of Wrestling podcast.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Colt Cabana wasn’t present for CM Punk’s AEW debut because he was booked for the Gathering of the Juggalos event. No note of any heat was mentioned at all.

Cabana was not at the show even though it was in his home city because he was booked at the Gathering of the Juggalos show, although Cabana was on the show in Milwaukee and that was never going to be an issue.

It is also to be noted that ICP announced their farewell tour at the Gathering of the Juggalos as well.

Cabana was featured in a segment with The Dark Order that showed the faction going through internal strife. We will have to wait and see how their storyline is booked in the coming weeks.
