WWE Superstars Indirectly Show Their Love For CM Punk’s AEW Debut

CM Punk made his return to pro wrestling at AEW Rampage The First Dance and the crowd in attendance lost their minds. Ringside News previously reported that CM Punk had signed a deal with AEW.

CM Punk later on explained why he decided to go to AEW in the first place, after vehemently denying he’ll ever return to the pro wrestling world.

Fans and pro wrestlers alike were absolutely ecstatic about CM Punk debuting in AEW and it seems that included current WWE Superstars as well. While not directly mentioning CM Punk’s debut, the likes of MVP, Omos and Keith Lee all took to Twitter and shared their thoughts on this debut.

Of course, WWE Superstars can’t really type “CM Punk” on their Twitter account, but we know what they’re talking about.

Even Sasha Banks reacted to CM Punk’s debut earlier in the day as she tweeted, “I’m really happy for today,” making it clear how excited she was.

CM Punk will do more than simply wrestle in AEW and fans couldn’t be happier to see The Second City Saint back on their television sets. We will have to wait and see how he will be booked from now on.
