AJ Lee has a thriving career as writer, so she might not have the same interest in a return to the ring that her husband does. That didn’t stop the Second City Savior from giving his wife a shout-out during AEW Dynamite this week.

AJ Lee heard CM Punk namedrop her this week on Dynamite. He called her “April,” her real name. She responded to a video of that clip and was a bit astonished to hear her “government name” on AEW television.

We’ll have to see if AJ Lee ever makes her way to AEW, because her name trended after Punk’s Rampage debut. This story is still being told, but Punk giving his wife a shout-out this week was certainly an interesting addition to the tale.
