CM Punk made his long awaited return to professional wrestling on AEW Rampage last week. Punk’s debut was hinted at and all but directly confirmed by members of The Elite. Ringside New also exclusively reported that the Second City Savior signed with the company.

Backstage footage of CM Punk’s AEW debut was shown in the latest episode of the popular YouTube series “Being The Elite” which shows off the actions of various Elite members.

CM Punk was seen backstage for AEW Rampage during the YouTube show where he appeared nervous to step out before a crowd for the first time in seven years. Punk’s initial nerves appeared to quickly fade away once his theme song played.

The show cut to footage of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks watching Punk’s promo on a monitor backstage. Omega was seen rolling his eyes and Nick and Matt Jackson were mocking Punk’s emotions and promo.
