Tessa Blanchard has not appeared for another pro wrestling company since she was released from Impact Wrestling. That almost changed, because there was an offer for Blanchard to work with the NWA.

The former Impact Wrestling World Champion became a free agent 14 months ago, and she hasn’t wrestled much. Blanchard did have a match against Kylie Rae in September last year where she lost the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title. She has since relocated to Texas and is still training hard.

According to a report from Fightful, Tessa Blanchard received an offer from the NWA to come out and work during the Summer. It’s unclear what the specific pitch was to get her there, but the idea has been “tabled” at this point.

National Wrestling Alliance reached out to Blanchard this Summer to feel out the possibility of working together, sources both inside and outside the company tell Fightful. We’re [uncertain] what the specific pitch was, but we’ve been told that talks seem to have been tabled for the time being.

Tessa Blanchard recently trained Bayley’s Biggest Fan, Izzy. They had a great time as the young pro wrestling hopeful learned the ropes. We’ll have to see if Blanchard ends up on NWA television soon enough.

For the record, Daga, Blanchard’s husband, has been backstage at a couple of AEW events, but she has never went with him.
