WWE Congratulates Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae After Pregnancy Announcement

WWE has several couples on their roster, and one of them is set to add another member to their family. Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae are expecting a child, and they were happy to reveal that news to the world today.

LeRae hasn’t wrestled since July 6th’s Great American Bash when The Way lost the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles to Zoey Stark and Io Shirai. Mrs. Wrestling still showed up on NXT every week since as part of backstage segments. This week they aired a hilarious series of vignettes wrapped around Indi Hartwell’s date with Dexter Lumis.

WWE congratulated Johnny and Candice with a blast on social media. They also included a photo of the couple along with a link to a brief write-up on their official website.

The First Couple of NXT took to social media to announce they are expecting their first child, who has already been dubbed “Baby Wrestling,” in February of 2022!

We’re not sure how this news will change Candice LeRae’s status on television. There should be no reason why LeRae can’t continue in a non-wrestling capacity, because her acting abilities shine in those backstage segments. Either way, this is incredibly happy news for the couple and we’re wishing them the best.
