Hangman Page loves to enjoy a cold one while he makes his way to the ring. He was also known to drink beer that fans have him in the past, but that stopped when COVID-19 started. There was a bit of a disagreement between AEW and Pabst Blue Ribbon involving a recent commercial, and that saw Hangman Page lose his spot. PBR gave Domino’s Pizza a hard time when they had issues with Nick Gage’s pizza cutter spot. The beer’s Twitter account even trolled the popular pizza chain a bit.

According to a report byFightful, PBR hoped to ride the wave of attention after that pizza cutter incident by placing a commercial during Dynamite last week. Hangman Page was supposed to be in that commercial, but he didn’t show up.

Matt Cardona, Brian Myers, Chelsea Green, and Hornswoggle were in the commercial, but the AEW rep put a stop to the production before Hangman could shoot. Apparently, they needed “additional clearances and agreements” before they could shoot.

We’re told that Page flew to St. Louis to film the commercial and was paid a flat fee, but that an All Elite Wrestling rep put a stop the production before filming commenced as there were additional clearances and agreements that were required.

The commercial spot apparently included many parts that needed to be trimmed before they were allowed to show it. Some wrestling moves hit the cutting room floor as well, but they were still able to get the commercial on television.
