Natalya was hurt on RAW this week and she was unable to finish her match with Tamina Snuka against Eva Marie and Doudrop. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions were able win that match as Tamina Snuka took out Eva Marie. Natalya’s status was uncertain for a bit of time and many fans were concerned.

WWE doesn’t need to lose someone like Natalya, especially as they get back on tour. Her veteran knowledge is incredibly valuable for the women’s division, one of the reasons why she is a champion.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Natalya is only expected to be out of action for a few weeks. This will likely not cause WWE to strip them of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles after all.

She got an MRI after the match. Evidently the results were better than expected as we were told she’s only expected out for a few weeks, so they also may not strip her and Tamina of the tag team titles which would be necessary if she needed surgery.

Natalya and Tamina have no shortage of challengers for their titles. Shotzi and Nox made it clear that they believe that they are first in line. Hopefully, Natalya will get back to action soon, and her message to fans after that injury showed no signs of her slowing down at all.
