WWE recently called up Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox to the main roster. Now they are just Shotzi & Nox, but the two have received a nice spotlight to go with the name change.
During an appearance on WWE The Bump, Shotzi and Nox mentioned that they should be #1 contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. They do have wins over the champions. No mention was made regarding Natalya’s apparent injury on RAW.
They were also asked about the sudden change in their careers. Nox confirmed how much of a whirlwind it has been, because she had just returned to NXT from injury. When it comes to being a team on the main roster, Nox also said it was a very quick transition.
“I think we gelled pretty quickly as a tag team. We had that little run in NXT as a tag team and that was fun, and then my knee went ‘ha, ha, ha, I’m not attached!'”
Shotzi then reminded everyone that they were a team before, “People forget that we’ve been tagging for a while up until your injury, we were going, we were going and we’re back at it.
Nox then confirmed that they are going with a “tank full of steam,” and they might just find themselves in title contention soon enough. We will have to see how things turn out, especially with Natalya’s recent injury.
