WWE has big plans for Las Vegas on August 21st, but fans might have to wear a mask to attend the biggest party of the summer. That date is still over a month away, so anything can happen at this point, but a new mandate passed down could cause a change for WWE’s big show.

We previously reported that AEW is very concerned that mandates might cause problems for their upcoming events. WWE might be in the same position right now as Clark County, Nevada has issued a mask mandate.

The Reno Gazette Journal reports that Nevada has issued a mask mandate for Clark County, the home of SummerSlam 2021’s Allegiant Stadium location. It is reported that everyone, vaccinated and non-vaccinated, must wear masks in “public indoor spaces.”

Allegiant Stadium is technically an outdoor venue if the roof is not on it. We will have to see if fans at SummerSlam will be affected by this new mandate. The new order begins on July 30th and they did not announce how long it will last.

Clark County accounts for over 80% of positive COVID-19 cases in the state. The vaccination rate is sadly only 39%. Hopefully, this new order will help fix that situation. Stay tuned.
