Karrion Kross’ WWE RAW debut consisted of a very fast loss to Jeff Hardy, a decision that enraged fans. WWE has more planned for Kross on the main roster and this is the first step in his long journey.
The internet spoke out after Karrion Kross’ loss on RAW. They even had to re-shoot Karrion Kross’ entrance during NXT because fans were chanting “Hardy.” It is expected that Kross will continue on his path that WWE has written for him, and that included a loss up front.
During the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, Andrew Zarian revealed something he was told from someone in WWE. They wanted to know why fans were so upset by this news. It was also stated that Kross’ loss to Hardy is just the first step toward something bigger down the line.
“You know what the justification is? He cheated, so it’s a cheap win, but he’s a former World Champion, so like it just shows you the lack of consistency with their champions. Jeff Hardy is a mega, mega star. He changed the industry for smaller guys. He created a new time of wrestler.”
“I asked about it and they said, ‘I don’t know why everyone is freaking out about this. It was just one step in the direction we have for Karrion Kross, and this is leading into something.”
Karrion Kross has one loss on RAW, and it was a cheap loss. “Now the plan probably is that he is going to murder everybody,” Zarian quipped.
We will be waiting for Karrion Kross’ next move on RAW. We already know that huge NXT Title match is booked for the August 22nd TakeOver event where Kross will defend his strap against Samoa Joe. This situation could be a very interesting one as the weeks continue playing out.
