ROH’s Best in the World pay-per-view went down on Sunday night, and they had a big surprise when Chelsea Green appeared. Another former NXT Superstar was backstage, but he didn’t appear on the show.

According to Post Wrestling, Chris Hero was backstage at the ROH pay-per-view. He did not work the event, but Bryan Alvarez confirmed on Wrestling Observer Live that he was there as an agent.

Formerly Kassius Ohno, Chris Hero was released from his NXT contract last year. He has yet to arrive anywhere else, but there are rumors that he was working on something big.

Hero was in Baltimore, Maryland on Sunday for the event, but that doesn’t mean he signed to wrestle for ROH or will be working for them. Joe Koff confirmed to the outlet saying, “Chris was there and is always home at Ring of Honor.”
