Why WWE Didn’t Pull Jimmy Uso Off Television After DUI Arrest

Jimmy Uso was arrested on a DUI charge last Monday, but he was on SmackDown like nothing happened just days later. There is a reason why he didn’t leave WWE television, and it stems from how large his part has become on the blue brand.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer addressed Jimmy Uso’s situation and why WWE didn’t pull him from the television storyline. As of right now Uce is in a very important storyline and his role is far too vital to lose right now.

“There is stuff in the plans that they feel is far too important and they don’t want it screwed up and that’s the answer. You would think, third [DUI], bad look — gotta pretend it didn’t happen.”

This situation is a concerning one, but hopefully, Jimmy Uso is getting the help he needs in the process. His wife Naomi recently deleted her Twitter account after fan backlash. She has ton of support from people willing to defend her as well.
