Nature Of Bayley’s Current Injury Revealed

Bayley was on another run on top of SmackDown and a title match was waiting on her at Money in the Bank. Now that match against Bianca Belair is not happening as the former Hugger is out with an injury.

WWE confirmed that Bayley will be out of action for around nine months. A lot of fans jumped on that “nine months” part and speculated that Bayley is pregnant. We’ve seen more than a couple tweets pop up using that joke already.

According to PW Insider, Bayley’s injury is legitimate. She reportedly suffered an ACL injury, and nine months just happens to be her expected recovery time. The belief is that she was injured while training at the WWE Performance Center.

The word making the rounds is that Bayley has suffered a torn ACL.

It was not noted whether Bayley was training on her own, or during one of Vince McMahon’s required brush-up training sessions that everyone needs to attend. We’re hoping for the best. Maybe WWE will be able to figure out how to use someone like Bayley for nine months even if she can’t wrestle.
