Vince McMahon is an incredibly busy man and he doesn’t have time to get out and take part in a ton of leisure activities. He was recently spotted at Dave Chappelle comedy show, and that got a ton of people talking.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE is actively hiring comedy writers for their team. A lot of people threw out jokes that Vince McMahon was trying to recruit Dave Chappelle to the team. That might not have been the case, but McMahon still had fun at the show.

While talking to the New York Post, Triple H revealed what brought Vince McMahon to that Dave Chappelle comedy show. Obviously, he finds the comedian incredibly entertaining and things just happened to work out with McMahon’s incredibly demanding schedule.

“We all find Dave Chappelle, much like the rest of the world, I think, as incredibly entertaining and funny and we’re big fans. And there was a rare opportunity where he was going to be in town, we all had an opportunity to have a few moments where we weren’t going to be working for a minute and we could also go see him. It sort of kind of was one of those things where we all went to each other at the same time — ‘Hey, I saw Chappelle is going to be doing some shows.’ He’s a normal human being. The persona that people have placed upon him is funny, but he’s also very private, too. Often when he does do things, when he goes to a concert or he goes to things you don’t often see photos from it. In fact, we took pictures with a lot of people that night and that was the one photo that came out. I was kind of surprised myself.”

Spotting Vince McMahon anywhere in public is a rarity at this point, especially in that environment. It turns out that Vince McMahon might actually go to concerts and other shows much more often than some fans think, but they aren’t snapping photos of him at those events. Perhaps it would be a good idea to keep an eye out for Vince McMahon the next time you’re at a concert around the Connecticut area.

Would you ask Vince McMahon for a selfie if you saw him in public? Sound off in the comments!
