WWE held the Great American Bash on NXT this week and they set up a huge match for next week. NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Johnny Gargano had a face-to-face and it didn’t take long for things to escalate into a future confrontation.

William Regal announced that Karrion Kross will defend the NXT Title next week against Johnny Gargano. To make sure that things don’t get screwy, Samoa Joe will be the special guest referee.
Kross made a quip about how Gargano wears Candice LeRae’s pants during his back and forth with Gargano. Just before he left, Gargano stopped and told Kross that he couldn’t even lace LeRae’s boots. This sparked even more rage within the NXT Champion. He wanted a piece of Gargano early, but they will need to wait until next week.
