Chad Gable’s Current WWE Contract Status Revealed

WWE has a few people on the roster who fans would love to see get better treatment elsewhere. Chad Gable is often a part of those conversations within the fan base, and there was recently some hope that he might get to stretch his legs apart from Vince McMahon’s company. It turns out that he’s not going anywhere.

There was some question regarding Chad Gable’s current WWE contract. Dax Harwood sent out a tweet that teased Gable’s deal was up in May. Obviously, he is still with WWE because May has come and gone.

It turns out that those tweets from March about Gable leaving WWE were all a joke. They were just having some fun on social media, but it still generated quite a bit of attention.

Fightful Select reports that there is actually “plenty of time left” on Chad Gable’s contract. His current storyline on WWE television will keep him with Otis for the time being, but he isn’t going anywhere as long as WWE keeps him employed.

Gable’s contract with WWE still has plenty of time left on it. Gable is currently involved in a story where he’s been “coaching” Otis and occasionally teaming with him.

It was also reported that “several AEW wrestlers” said if Gable became available then they would push for Tony Khan to give him a look. He is a very talented wrestler and plenty of people around the pro wrestling business realize that as well. He will not be leaving WWE though, so he will remain on SmackDown.
