Kenice Mobley admitted to WWE during her interview that she doesn’t watch pro wrestling. They hired her anyway, and that was not a big deal. The big deal happened when she spoke about it on a podcast.
Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE is pushing to hire more comedy writers. That being said, the company didn’t appreciate all of the extra attention that Mobley brought with her comments.
WWE fans have started attacking Kenice Mobley on social media. The former WWE Writer posted on Twitter to reveal a hatful message from a WWE fan for taking a job with the company without having any previous pro wrestling experience.
Every morning for the last 5 days I’ve been waking to up messages like this from people I’ve never met.
The message that Mobley revealed said: “How ignorant can you be? You get hired to work for one of the most respectable companied and you admit to know knowing sh*T about the product. DUMB BITCH.”
It’s questionable how “respectable” WWE really is, but that is not the point of this message. It was hatful and pro wrestling fans really can and should do better. It’s bad enough that Kenice Mobley lost her job through this; the company stated that she was released due to an internal concern.
