Tino Sabbatelli joins a list of names that were cut from WWE today. This came after WWE President Nick Khan handed down orders that the company should release more people to reduce the bottom line.

According to Sean Sapp, Sabbatelli was released from his NXT contract today. This is not the first time he has been released, because he was also cut last year, but they brought him back to the company after a few months away.

Fightful has been told that Tino Sabbatelli has been released by WWE. We’ve heard that those are all of the planned releases for today.

He was released by WWE last year, did a couple of AEW spots, and re-signed with WWE.

There were rumors he was the “AEW spy” that wrestlers talked about, but the Reddit leaks continued after he left AEW

Tino Sabbatelli joins a list of names including Killian Dain, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Ever Rise, Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese, August Grey, and writer Kenice Mobley. We’ll have to see what’s next for everyone involved, but this is reportedly the final release of the day.

What’s your take on WWE releasing so many people? Sound off in the comments!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
