WWE is making some big plans for SummerSlam. It does not look like Brock Lesnar is coming back for the biggest party of the summer, but other big names will certainly be invited.
Apart from Cardi B, who is expected to host the event, WWE is also bringing in some big names. John Cena has been widely discussed and the thought is that he will face Roman Reigns with the Universal Title on the line.
According to PW Insider, WWE is considering SummerSlam as an “all hands on deck” situation. This could certainly see many returns, including Becky Lynch
With Summerslam coming up, as we’ve mentioned, it’s being considered an “all hands on deck” show and certainly Lynch’s return would be a great attraction for the show on a year where it may be considered even bigger than WrestleMania due to the timing of the country opening up as we get to what is hopefully the latter end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We’ll have to see what WWE pulls out of their box of gimmicks for SummerSlam. They have many options at this juncture, but Becky Lynch has yet to make her return. She is preparing for that day to come as The Man was spotted at the WWE Performance Center this week.
