WWE NXT Diamond Mine Opening Next Week

WWE has been airing video vignettes for the Diamond Mine for weeks. There are a lot of ideas floating around about what they might have in store. Rumors and reports about an MMA inspired NXT segment filled Wrestling Twitter. Fans will find out what the Diamond Mine is all about next week.

Some fans have theorized that the Diamond Mine will be like “NXT Underground,” a play on Raw Underground which was nixed when WWE didn’t want to combine the rosters during the pandemic anymore. We’re not 100% what they are cooking up, but plenty of fans are talking.

WWE aired another vignette for the Diamond Mine this week on NXT. They flashed text about endurance as flashes of an MMA gym appeared on the screen. The theme is that pressure creates diamonds.

Before the vignette ended, the video flashed text saying: “OPENING NEXT WEEK.” Fans won’t have to wait long at all to see what WWE NXT has in store for this Diamond Mine segment.
