Miro Was So Happy About WWE Release That He Did Cartwheels

Miro made his debut in AEW last year and there were a lot of expectations from him as he had proven to be a great performer. Miro finally lived up to his potential after defeating Darby Allin for the TNT Championship. Since then he has been booked as a very strong champion.

Before AEW, Miro worked in WWE under the name of Rusev. During his time in WWE, Miro simply did not have a very memorable run for the majority of his time in the company.

Miro would over organically with fans and WWE didn’t like that and would ruin his character by involving him with nonsensical feuds such as the love triangle storyline with his real-life wife Lana and Bobby Lashley.

Miro’s wife former WWE Superstar Lana recently took to her Instagram and uploaded a video where she promised to ‘spill the tea’ on WWE in an upcoming series of YouTube videos. She also revealed Miro was so excited about being released by WWE that he did cartwheels.

“You guys have helped me through some parts that I definitely have cried, but it’s normal, it’s normal. You know, some people don’t. My husband Miro was doing cartwheels when he got released, out of excitement. We all have different reactions, and it’s okay not to be okay.”

Miro initially didn’t have a good run in AEW but now he is certainly being booked as a proper champion. We will have to see who Miro’s next challenger will be and just how long his title reign will last.
