Braun Strowman was released from a $1.2 million WWE contract. He might find trouble finding someone outside of Vince McMahon’s company paying him that much. He also signed that deal during a special time when WWE was locking people down so they didn’t leave for AEW. Now Strowman is no longer with WWE and looking for his next opportunity. It will not come cheap.

A report came out saying that Braun Strowman was asking “five figures” for an appearance. He came out and said that he has not even spoken to anyone about making any deals, citing the report as false.

PW Insider, the publication which ran the original report, has now come out and doubled down on their previous report. They also supplied an exact figure of $20k to $25k to get the former Monster Among Men booked.

Strowman’s manager Nick Antocelli has quoted “20-25K” for a three hour appearance to multiple promoters that have reached out with their interest in Strowman in making appearances.

Braun Strowman is also asking for first-class air, two nights in a hotel, and meals as a part of his deal. All ground transportation must be covered as well. That could cost indie promoters a ton of money to bring him in.

WWE won’t even let him sign anything as “Braun Strowman” during meet & greets. We’ll have to see if anyone is willing to cough up that much dough to get Braun Strowman for their show.

What’s your take on this? Are Braun Strowman’s expectations far too high? Sound off in the comments!

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
