Lana Released From WWE In New Wave Of Roster Cuts

WWE is going through another round of releases today, and we have another surprising name to add to that list. Lana is no longer with the company after being released. It seems that weeks of getting put through the announce table wasn’t enough to keep her job despite trying hard in every angle they placed her in.

According to Fightful, Lana has also been released from the company. Her name joins Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, and many others.

The Ravishing Russian worked hard to improve in the ring, often making ridiculous travel arrangements so she could train with TJ Wilson and Natalya at their gym. Now she is no longer with the company.

Lana is married to Miro, but that doesn’t guarantee that she will go to AEW. It does likely mean that the former Rusev won’t be watching WWE anymore, because he previously admitted to only watching his wife’s segments.

We will have to see what’s next for Lana. She was very happy about her million-dollar WWE contract, but the company obviously had a different opinion.
