WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart is without a doubt one of the best technical pro wrestlers the pro wrestling industry has ever seen. He is also a controversial wrestler whose views haven’t always been seen in the best of ways.

Recently, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair blasted Bret Hart over his past comments where Hart criticized the likes of Seth Rollins, Triple H and Goldberg. Now it seems there is more to this story than initially thought.

Bret Hart took to Twitter and told his side of the story. Hart revealed that his past comments, where he criticized wrestlers, are being used again in recent articles despite the comments being from a very old interview.

Bret Hart added that he very rarely does wrestling podcast interviews and said that anyone who advertised he did their podcast recently is lying. Hart also added that he reached out to Ric Flair and cleared the air over the matter.

I know my comments at times can be unpopular or, at the very least, spark debate in the wrestling world, but it’s become apparent to me that someone is saying I did an interview with them recently but using old quotes of mine from way back.

I very, very rarely do wrestling podcasts, and I’m aware of what interviews I have done since the pandemic started. Anyone that is advertising that I did their podcast recently is flat out lying. For the record, I reached out to Ric and we’ve cleared the air with each other.

I consider Ric a friend of mine and, considering I have very few friends left in the business, I want to keep it that way.

It seems Ric Flair might have made a hasty decision and judged Bret Hart too harshly without getting to know the full picture. Thankfully, it seems the issue between the two has been resolved.
