AEW is on TNT and that is a great home for them, but they must also worry about the NBA getting in the way during Playoff season. That is happening once again this year.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW Dynamite will need to shift things around in late May and early June for the NBA. This will also affect their go-home show prior to Double or Nothing.

The May 26th show will move to Friday, May 28th, two days prior to Double Or Nothing. They will air that show at 10:00 PM and go until Midnight. This is due to the NBA playoffs.

The June 2nd show will also air on Friday, June 4th. The NBA also has Playoff games slated for Wednesdays on June 9th through June 16th. We’ll have to see what the company decides to do.

The 10:00 to Midnight spot on Fridays would also mean that fans will have to change from SmackDown right to AEW Dynamite.

At least AEW Dynamite will still air in some fashion. It will certainly give them a big lead-in with the NBA game, but we also have to wonder how many fans will tune in at 10:00 PM and stick around until Midnight.
