Plans can always change in WWE, even if the plan is to debut someone on television. That is what happened this week for the former Reckoning.

WWE broke up Retribution during the kickoff show before Fastlane. That stable has been splintered off and now they are on separate brands. Mia Yim was supposed to start her journey on the blue brand this week, but that didn’t happen.

Ringside News has learned that Mia Yim was backstage this week, and ready for her SmackDown debut. She was supposed to appear on last night’s show, but “it got pushed to another week.”

WWE had to work things out this week with a shorthanded staff backstage. As Ringside News exclusively reported, Bruce Prichard was on vacation and Ed Koskey was not there either. They also pulled up Dave Kapoor from NXT to help out this week.

Triple H was also backstage and he helped out a lot. We ran an exclusive about his discreet contributions to the show every week. It’s unknown why Mia Yim wasn’t used this time, but fans will have to wait a bit longer to see her on the blue brand.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
