WWE presented a Throwback SmackDown this week, but they didn’t use everyone available to them. Aleister Black was noticeably absent this week after two weeks of backstage vignettes. He was around, but they didn’t use him.

Ringside News was told that Aleister Black was backstage this week for SmackDown, but he was not used. His weekly segments also didn’t air this week. They did film something for him, but it did not air.

WWE also nixed Mia Yim’s SmackDown debut as we exclusively reported. There was a lot going on backstage during SmackDown this week such as them being shorthanded.

Bruce Prichard and Ed Koskey were both absent from SmackDown for different reasons. They called Dave Kapoor up from NXT to help out. As we also exclusively reported, Triple H was around and his contributions really help out as well.

Fans saw chapter 1 and 2 of Aleister Black’s story time, but chapter 3 will obviously have to wait. You can check out his previous two segments below.
