WWE’s next event with fans is likely to be SummerSlam. No location for the show has been confirmed, but the company is reportedly making big plans afterward.

It was previously reported that WWE was considering test live events. It’s not known whether that idea is still on the table, but the company is setting their sights on getting back to touring soon.

According to Wrestle Votes, WWE is planning for SummerSlam to kickoff their return to touring. The biggest party of the Summer will hopefully be followed by more live fans as the Summer turns into the Fall.

WWE is looking to have SummerSlam be the official kickoff as a “return to touring.” With that said, if things work out a certain way, the PPV might be even earlier than usual this year. I’ve heard 3 to 4 locations are on the table, with 1 having better odds than the others

There are a few locations on the table, but nothing has been nailed down. Obviously, Florida is an option, but that goes without saying. We’ll have to see where WWE tours first because there are a few states that have greatly laxed their pandemic protocol when it comes to live sporting events and concerts.
