Jaxson Ryker drummed up ton of controversy when he tweeted out support for then-POTUS Donald Trump during the Black Lives Matter protests. That was not a good look at all, and it got him a ton of heat in WWE. The Forgotten Sons were soon forgotten after that.

Steve Cutler was released from WWE later on when he got his own heat for catching COVID-19. He revealed to Fightful that the heat he got from Ryker’s tweet had nothing to do with anything he said at all, but it still affected him and Wesley Blake in the process.

Listen, everybody has their opinion. Everybody’s allowed to have their opinion. That’s the point of social media. Obviously there’s a two sided coin to everything on how you feel and how you view things. Feel how you want to feel. Say what you want to say. That’s your business, not mine. I’m out walking the dogs with D and I get a bunch of texts. My phone starts blowing up, ‘Hey, what the hell?’ I’m just looking, it’s just screenshots of the tweet. I’m just like, ‘Oh, come on.’ I’m like, ‘I’m doing nothing I’m literally at home walking my dogs.’ Then it just instilled from there on how everything unfolded and that happened.

Ironically, Blake and Cutler have now been released from WWE, but Ryker is still on RAW as Elias’ security. We’ll have to see what’s next for Jaxson Ryker, but that heat from his tweet certainly didn’t seem to find him in the doghouse with management for very long.
